I am a Christian wife, mother of two, and university faculty member living in the Northwest Arkansas River Valley. I currently teach assessment courses and coordinate assessment and elementary education for a teacher education program. I am the LiveText coordinator, edTPA, coordinator and CAEP coordinator for P-12 licensure programs.
I grew up in Northern Indiana where I also taught elementary school and was an elementary school administrator. I spent two years in Northern Illinois working as principal of a preK-5 elementary school.
Teaching and Learning are my passion. I love to learn! I have special interests in Gifted Education, Special Education, Reading and Reading Intervention, Instructional Technology, Behavior and Discipline and of course COLLABORATIVE DATA-DRIVEN DECISION MAKING! The latter would include Response to Intervention, Professional Learning Communities, and Data Teams in P-12 education, and program evaluation and accreditation for higher education.
My experiences in education have been diverse and the educators who have impacted who I am today are many.
